WINNO'S WINNERS: EAGLE FARM, AUGUST 2, 2025

By Darren Winningham | Friday, August 1, 2025

EAGLE FARM this week - nine races on the program with the track rated ‘soft’ and the rail out 3 metres.

Some awesome achievements in the 2024/25 season:

Tony Gollan premier trainer with 134 wins.
Angela Jones the first female jockey to win the premiership with 66 wins.
Emily Lang won the apprentice premiership with 63.5 wins.

A wonderful season of racing. Now we are entering the 2025/26 season. Who will win?

Let me look into the crystal ball! Tony Gollan to continue his winning way – Ben Thompson to win the jockeys premiership and the leading apprentice to be Cody Collis. Some bold predictions – let’s see what happens in 12 months.
