Form assessed for a slow 7 with a possible upgrade.

RACE 1:

OUTSTRIP (6) should have finished closer latest R'hill, 6th and with Allen's claim is well weighted against rivals. Distance also in his favour. ARCHITECT (1) is in-and-out but easier field than latest 7th when slow out. SECRET HARMONY (4) has been useful in 3 runs so far. Rough chances 2,3,6 and 9.

RACE 2:

SOUTHERLY (3) has run well locally 3 times and has been set for this race. Hardest to beat. Lightly-raced WESTBROOK (11) will lead and take running down while TIGER JET (10) is racking up a few convictions but the inside alley is a plus. Rough chances 1,9,12 and 15.

RACE 3:

Bet with confidence with AVALADYLUCK (10). Ran into a smart one last time, well weighted under conditions and very good in wet. Strong tempo will assist her racing pattern. STYLE (11) boasts a handy NSW record and is speedy. FACE OFF (5) is a backmarker and now in a new stable. Respect. Rough chances 2,3 and 4.

RACE 4:

Most open race of the day. DANE PRINCESS (11) represents good value on both totes because she appeals as the leader and handles the wet. Presently $18 fixed on Tatts. HOW FAIRDINKUM (2) is racing solidly while THIRSTY FOR BLOOD (7) is a last start Sunshine Coast winner and never runs a bad race. Rough chances 1,4,5,6,8,9,10 and 12.

RACE 5:

Bet with confidence with TAX EVADER (10). Running strongly in races like the Eye Liner and Glasshouse. Huge class drop. Sydney visitor LOADED (5) is a strong finisher with a good rap on him. Quinella result. DOUBLE IMPACT (3) races on pace but 1500m may trouble. Rough chances 6,8,9 and 12.

RACE 6:

Little depth here and surely IBICENCO (1) wins. The class runner and proven at two miles after 3 solid lead-up runs. TURNER BAYOU (6) is in-form on Melbourne winter tracks and should finish top 3. VERDANT (3) has been a little disappointing in Brisbane but a lot of these can't place. Rough chance 4.

RACE 7:

Very even race. BENNYS BUTTON (6) was a solid 6th in Healy and gets a good trip here. Bet with confidence each-way. DELAGO BOLT (2) will come with a strong finish and Healy 3rd was sound. DOUBTFILLY (12) has conditions to suit but Tiara run was poor. Rough chances 3,4,8,9 and 13.

RACE 8:

LITTLE LONG HORN (3) appeals here. Solid 1st-up 4th, handles wet and gets good run from the alley. SEEN (15) has only raced once winning at Sandown and is a big watch. ITCHINTOWIN (7) is a more than capable mare who finds the line well. Rough chances 4,5,6,12 and 16.

BEST BET: AVALADYLUCK (Race 3).

BEST EACHWAY: LITTLE LONG HORN (Race 8).

BEST ROUGHIE: DANE PRINCESS (Race 4).

QUADRELLA: 5, 11 / 1, 3, 4, 6 / 2, 6, 8, 12, 13 / 3, 4, 6, 7, 12, 15, 16.
