What is your role in racing?

Stable Foreman with Matthew Dunn Racing at Murwillumbah.

Do you have a nickname?

Spider – Fumberlina – I play fullback in Rugby League.

How long have you been with Matthew?

Six and a half years now – I am only 21 years old.

Best thing you like about your work?

All the winners we are starting to get recently. The work environment – and Matty is a great bloke to work for.

Your fondest memory of working for Matthew?

Working one at track work and falling off it five times in one lap! The horse come out and won first up so it was all worth it in the end!

Best thing you like about your work?

Working with the horses.

What do you do when you cannot sleep?

Go to the gym.

Jockeys start early in the morning, what time do you get up to start work?

I work track work as well – so usually one of the first ones at the stables and around 3.30am.

How do you prefer to be woken up in the morning?

With my girlfriend – otherwise with my alarm.

A memorable day you have had as a foreman?

2016 Group 2 Roses win with Kabede.

What is your favourite horse you have ridden?

A little two year old that has not started yet - Trestrail

What was the turning point in your career?

Getting the chance to work with Matty and becoming stable foreman.

What are you always late for?

Footy games. (Toby is a Rugby League player).

If you could change careers tomorrow what would you do?

Professional rugby league player. (Toby has been lucky enough to be contracted with the Burleigh Bears for the 2017 season in the Intrust Super State League Cup).

If you retired from footy what would you do?

Try my hand as a horse trainer.

What is your favourite music and musician?

Eminem

What is the most embarrassing song on your phone?

“My Humps” by the Black Eyes Peas.

What is your favourite gadget?

My phone.

What would you chose as your last meal?

Chicken Parmigiana – with chips and gravy – no salad.

Name one person who you want to have dinner with?

My girlfriend – I love her!

Name one thing you could not live without?

Football – rugby league.

What is your greatest fear?

Losing – just losing any time I hate it.

One of your favourite places to be?

Thailand.

NRL/AFL favourite team?

NRL – Melbourne Storm.

State of Origin time – NSW or QLD?

NSW.

Who do you talk to most on the phone?

My girlfriend or Billy Healey.

What are you grateful for everyday?

To wake up!

What do you like to put on a sandwich?

Ham, cheese and tomato.

What is the most unusual thing you put on a sandwich?

Butter and salt and vinegar chips.

What toppings do you like on your pizza?

Chicken pizzas ... love them!

How do you define success?

I don’t really define success – well maybe just happiness.

Who is you man crush?

Billy Slater from the Melbourne Storm – Billy Slater, definitely not Billy Healey.

Tell us something that may surprise us about you?

I represented Australia in show jumping when I was 14.

If you are down to your last $10 what would you spend it on?

If we had a good thing in that day I would have it on that and try to double it – or make some more money. Otherwise, I would go to McDonalds for a Big Mac.
