TOBY AND TRENT EDMONDS TRAINING PARTNERSHIP IS THE LATEST RECIPIENT OF THE WAYNE WILSON MEDAL

The training partnership of Toby and Trent Edmonds is the latest recipient of the Wayne Wilson Medal which was awarded at a function today.

It is the tenth year that the Wayne Wilson medal has been awarded.

Trent Edmonds was on hand to accept the award.

The Edmonds team secured the honour on the back of gaining their first Group 1 win in last season’s Stradbroke Handicap with Tyzone, a result which had been in the planning for the previous twelve months.

Barry Squair, for his exploits with his stable star Love You Lucy, finished runner-up.

Michael Nolan finished third. David Vandyke finished fourth.
