MICHAEL NOLAN RACING - SOLID WIN AND PLACE PERCENTAGES ACHIEVED FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY

The Michael Nolan stable saddled three winners in February … and when it is realised that those wins came from only twenty runners at a winning strike rate of a highly acceptable fifteen percent, it does put the stable’s stout effort in perspective.

Coup’s two wins and Dollop’s opening two, eye-catching career starts were the standouts here. Both would appear to have positive options moving forward.

The remaining runners for the month of February recorded four second places between them, one third place and two in fourth places … which translates (taking the first three places into account) into an overall place strike-rate of fifty percent … which, again, is well above the average pass mark.

Keepmoving Forward was the standout in this group finishing runner-up twice in a row, the second time only being beaten by the very narrowest of margins.

The training profession is often a grind … and those who survive best are those who make the best of what they have … which, as can be seen from the statistics mentioned above, is something that the Nolan stable continues to do in very a sound and professional fashion.
