Race 9

Well, it is the last race!

“Last Race” Larry Cassidy is back in form – winning last weekend on Linthorpe Lad and then backing it up on Tuesday at Eagle Farm on Melbourne Cup Day with another last race winner. He is almost making the last race his own and he will be looking to keep the crown and hear the punter chanting “Last Race Larry!”.

Not this weekend for mine – he will be dethroned by Ben Thompson and the Tony Gollan trained “Aussie Nugget”.

There is nothing better when the Aussies beat the Kiwis!

Selections:

5 – Aussie Nugget

10 – Linthorpe Lad

4 – Ulysses

9 – Lord Markel

Rough chance – (3) Last Chance
