A BIG THANK YOU TO THE HONG KONG JOCKEY CLUB AND THEIR WONDERFUL MEDIA TEAM

After three years away from the LONGINES Hong Kong International Races (HKIR) HorseRacingOnly (HRO) Australia was once again granted media accreditation to return to the 2022 event.

This year was no usual event as restrictions are still in place. Little things like mask wearing, some PCR testing on days 1 to 3 and daily RAT testing for the first five days ... simple rules to abide by.

On behalf of HRO, I would like to express our sincere thanks for the continued invitations along with the official media accreditation which allows horseracingonly (HRO) the opportunity to provide extensive, original coverage of the two Hong Kong feature race days.

When this year's coverage is finalised horseracingonly.com.au will have posted more than thirty independent stories, over three hundred photographs, forty or more posts in social media and at least ten video interviews with jockeys and trainers.

It was a herculean work effort by Winno in sourcing and producing all of the above with full credit also due to Graham Potter and the backroom team who made sure the stories and photos were used to their best advantage on the horseracingonly website.

A particular vote of thanks goes to Priscilla, Catherine, Pam and Larry in the media office ... that is the mighty Larry who directs, supports, and encourages the media so well at the track itself. Their efforts to help and please are quite amazing.

Also, special thanks to Larry for ensuring WINNO was in the right spot and the right time for the photo opportunities.

Lastly, thanks to Priscilla who located my lost jackets on at least two or three occasions and managed to get them back to me, so I remained warm.
