Massive program in NSW at Randwick- featuring the world’s richest race on turf – THE EVEREST, plus, a host of amazing support races. The track rated ‘Good’. The rail is out 3 metres for the entire circuit. The forecast is for good weather.

Race 7 THE TAB EVEREST
First leg of the Quaddie – the 2023 TAB EVEREST.
I think the GODOLPHIN team will win the race. It is difficult to split these two runners.
I think it is the battle of the ZACS – one, Zac Purton, an International champion. The other, Zac Lloyd, last year’s NSW leading apprentice with a superb career in front of him.
I have gone with the Zac Purton ride, In Secret (9), to just get the job done. I think with the speed on, it will suit this runner down to the ground – super each way odds as well - $11 each way.
Zac Lloyd will be looking to claim his biggest career win on a massive day at Randwick aboard his boss’s charge Cylinder (12) - an exciting three-year-old trained by James Cummings. The blinkers go on for the first time. Last time out he got caught wide and still finished off the race superbly – another solid chance at super odds - $10.
