FORSMAN STABLE ON THE MOVE

New Zealand trainer Andrew Forsman is moving stables after being successful in a tender process for boxes at Flemington.

Forsman had been at Macedon Lodge for much of the year, but he has embraced the opportunity that the Flemington option provides.

“We’ve used Flemington a few times before for our hit-and-run missions, and it has worked well ... (it) is more similar to Cambridge,” Forsman told Racing.com.

“Macedon is a brilliant facility, but it wasn’t like for like (when compared to Cambridge) and a few of the younger horses struggled a little bit.

“We are thrilled to be able to get them.
“There were a few other applicants, I understand, so it’s an opportunity we have to grab with both hands and hopefully make it work.”
