NEASHAM / ARCHIBALD FORM A TRAINING PARTNERSHIP

Ten-time Group 1 winning trainer Annabel Neasham will train in partnership with Rob Archibald from Thursday, the start of the new racing season.

Archibald has been an integral member of the Neasham Racing team, working as the stable’s Racing Manager for the last two years.

Neasham has said that the training partnership was a ‘logical step’ for the business, which has been on a steep upward trajectory from the moment she saddled her first winner with her first runner back in August 2020.

It has been a quite remarkable four seasons for Neasham who has become a powerhouse stable in such a short space of time, which now includes two interstate satellite stables.

The now retired Zaaki, a fifteen-time winner from 48 starts, including four Group 1 wins and just over $11 million banked in prize-money, led the charge for the stable for a long way, but there was always a talented supporting cast to Zaaki contributing to the stable’s growing momentum ... and the Neasham/Archbald team will be lining up the likes of Amelia’s Jewel and Lady Laguna, amongst others, as they seek Group 1 glory in the coming season their own right.

The team will send out their first runners at Hawkesbury and Cranbourne on Thursday.
