WINNO'S WINNERS: DOOMBEN, AUGUST 31, 2024

By Darren Winningham | Friday, August 30, 2024

DOOMBEN this week. The track is rated “SOFT”. The rail is out 5 metres for the entire circuit. The weather is supposed to be super-hot for Saturday – I reckon there will be an upgrade to the track for sure

Now I must give credit where credit is due. Despite all his faults – a QLD supporter and a BRONCO supporter – Josh Fleming managed to tip the last 6 – YES SIX Winners at Doomben last weekend – one of them at $21 – a herculean effort – congratulations mate – a superb effort!

I just want to say thanks to the Cairns Jockey Club and Cameron Riches for their hospitality last weekend. The 2024 Cairns Cup was a massive day and a very successful one for the Club. Each year the event keeps going from strength to strength and with the sponsorship of Ladbrokes and the Red Beret Hotel it is in solid hands for the years to come.
