ORMAN AT THE POINTY END OF HIS RECOVERY

Queensland’s leading rider Jimmy Orman will be riding on Magic Millions Day on Saturday … month after Prince Of Boom bit Orman and tore the tip off one of his fingers (when he was attempting to remove a tongue-tie) and put him firmly on the sidelines for recovery.

"It feels all normal again, it is a bit numb and tingly, but that could last a while, it won't affect my riding,” Orman told Racenet, adding, “I had to go and give him a pat (beforehand) to make sure we were all sweet.”

Orman, who will officially reunite with Prince Of Boom … his second ride back … in the $1 million Magic Millions Snippets, has won four times from seven rides aboard the Robert Heathcote trained gelding who boasts a notable winning strike-rate of two wins in three starts at the Gold Coast.
