ANDSOSAYALLOFUS MAKES IT TWO FROM TWO
By Graham Potter | Tuesday, June 16, 2009
The Alan Bailey trained Andsosayallofus made it two wins from two starts when she took out the QTIS Handicap for two-year-olds at Ipswich on Saturday.
The General Nediym filly is showing promise beyond just having a perfect record as she had to overcome particular hurdles in landing each of her wins which could easily have caught out a horse with less ability, particularly as she is still very green. She brushed aside the pitfalls of the heavy going at Doomben on debut and she made light work of overcoming the disadvantage of a wide barrier here. She has two good results in the bank which bodes well for future success.
QTIS 2yo Handicap - 1100m. Time: 1-05.06. Track - Dead 4. Rail - True. 1st Andsosayallofus; 2 Bevagna; 3 Bargaining
WINNER FEEDBACK: Trainer Alan Bailey: “I think she will be a nice filly. I’ve got a good opinion of her and I’ve had that from day one, you know. She is just one of those good, strong fillies. She’s beautiful. She handled the heavy going at Doomben in her first win. She was caught wide here and she handled that. She’s always been good from the day we first put a saddle on her.
“She’ll go to Grafton now for that race on the Thursday for Inglis Classic horses. She’s out of that Inglis sale. That’s what we have targeted her for. I rang up to make sure she was eligible because I paid up ... I thought I did, but I just wanted to make sure of it. So that is where she’ll be next.
Jockey Glen Colless: “She’s going to get better when the penny drops, you know. She still doesn’t know much about it, but she is still winning. So that’s good effort.
PRICE FLUCTUATIONS: Winner (Andsosayallofus): 4.40 out to 5.00 in to 4.60. The winner was the favourite.
