WINNO'S WINNERS: ROSEHILL, MARCH 29, 2025

By Darren Winningham | Friday, March 28, 2025

We are back at ROSEHILL after a wonderful GOLDEN SLIPPER day where James McDonald dominated. He will be looking for another Group 1 haul – eager to reap gold before heading to Dubai for April 5 to ride Hong Kong champion Romantic Warrior in the Group 1 Dubai Turf at the Dubai World Cup meeting.

The track is rated 'Soft'. The rail is out 6 metres for the entire course. The track could be rain affected with rain forecast for Saturday. I think with the rail out combined with a wet track you will want to be handy – I expect there may be a track bias this weekend.

Let’s have a look at the meeting and find some winners.

Jockey Challenge

There is a roughie this weekend – Chad Schofield to get the job done on a day where I think some rough results will occur. Of course, James McDonald will be hard to hold out and others have a solid book of rides like Tyler Schiller and Tommy Berry.
