BUFFERING INJURY SCARE

Trainer Robert Heathcote has informed Racing Queensland Limited stewards that Buffering, which is engaged in the Group 1 BTC Cup on Saturday at Doomben, was showing signs of soreness following its work this morning.
The Heathcote stable veterinary surgeon Dr Phillip Burguez has examined Buffering and reported that the gelding is exhibiting sensitivity in the near-fore foot. Treatment on the foot has commenced and Racing Queensland Limited chief veterinary surgeon Dr Martin Lenz will conduct an examination of the BTC Cup favourite Saturday morning
