Form assessed for heavy 9 with no improvement and maybe a bias for run-on horses in centre of track.

RACE ONE:

COSMONAUT (6) is a proven heavy tracker and suited to the mile. FLYING HOME (3) failed only heavy run but won here slow and hit form now. Should be suited by track bias. VENTURE ON (1) is a last start winner but more effective on slow than heavy. Rough chances 2,4,9,10,11.

RACE TWO:

PERFECTLY STUNNING (5) will find this easier than latest EF run and placed on heavy. Classy type. MAREEZA (12) is proven in heavy and in good stable. ZAMBONI (8) form doesn't look flash but powerful stats this track and in the wet. Rough chances 1,4,7,9,10.

RACE THREE:

JET DOWN ON IT (5) was strong at end of EF 3rd last run and placed twice heavy. Set for this. YOU DID WHAT (3) is two from two track and heavy. NUDE SECRETS (4) will race on pace and run well. Rough chances 1,2,6,8.

RACE FOUR:

CAPE KIDNAPPERS (2) is a standout with main dangers being scratched. KELBENJAR (4) likes track and wet so can run well. Quinella hope. SPINHRO (10) fitter after first-up average run and improver if ridden from behind. Rough chances 9 and 12.

RACE FIVE:

LENNIES CHOICE (1) is a standout. Outstanding stats distance and heavy. Short odds though. TEN GAUGE (8) is promising and can provide quinella result. THE CONSPIRATOR (2) is a place chance but prefers dry. Rough chance 5.

RACE SIX:

BYMONASHEE (2) is a good wet tracker and in-form and will be suited by today's racing pattern. SONS OF GOD (1) is best in wet and will look winner for a long way. MISHANI WARRIOR (4) is a top 3 chance but would prefer it not as wet. Rough chances 6,9 and 14.

RACE SEVEN:

TOKAMAK (7) is in great form and handles wet. Back each-way with confidence. MEET GEORGE (9) always runs well in this race and Eye Liner 2nd was sound. JETSET LAD (8) will get a good run here and be competitive. Rough chances 1,3,13,14,15.

RACE EIGHT:

ROTHERA (2) finds his perfect surface here today and will outstay his rivals. Tatts Cup 3rd was sound when caught wide. SHENZOU STEEDS (5) has a great chance of defending his title. Come right at the right time. ZENNISTA (4) is going well and Brisbane Cup 3rd is a good form pointer. Rough chances 1,6,8 and 12.

RACE NINE:

Keen on CASINO CARD (13) on both totes. Proven in heavy at this track and will get a good run. EXIMIUS (3) and LUCKY HUSSLER (5) were both very good in the Daybreak Lover but may have tough trips here on a testing track. Rough chances 1,6,11,17 and 18.

BEST BET: LENNIES CHOICE (Race 5).

BEST EACHWAY: CASINO CARD (Race 9).

BEST ROUGHIE: ZAMBONI (Race 2).

QUADRELLA: 1, 2, 4, 14 / 7, 8, 9, 13, 15 / 2, 4, 5, 6, 12 / 3, 5, 6, 11, 13.
