Form assessed for a Dead 4 (perfect surface).

RACE 1:

Tricky race to start day. SPINHRO (7) can be the real improver after two plain runs on wet tracks. Should tuck away from good gate on a hot speed. Value each-way. MY SHABELLA (6) falls into the same category while there is big tip for AROUSED (8) and the money is there to back it up. Rough chances 1, 2 and 3.

RACE 2:

RAEBURN (4) had a long time away from racing but last week's D'bn 4th was a good run. Ready to win and in the right race. TOPPING (2) will lead for a long way but a slight distance risk and hasn't won for 12 months. SAINT ENCOSTA (3) is frightened of the winning post but reluctantly I've put it in top 3. Rough chances 1 and 5.

RACE 3:

EQUISSENTIAL (2) is excellent value. Races on pace from rails and had a trial hit-out at Dalby Tuesday. REVITALISE (4) is back in winning form and raced well this time last year. DOUBLE IMPACT (1) won in a hand canter at EF last start but the track was heavy. Different conditions today. Rough chances 3,5, 8 and 10

RACE 4:

SECRET HARMONY (1) is well worth another chance. Got involved in a speed battle last time out EF and punctured last 50m. More sedate pace now and better drawn. Follow. ALWAYS A GIBBERER (7) is a promising maiden and this distance suits while OUTBACK LIGHTNING (2) is honest and will race on pace. Rough chances 3, 6, 8 and 9.

RACE 5:

KEEP IT MOIST (5) delivered a last-to-first performance at this track and trip last Sat but today will take a more forward spot and should win again. DE DOZEN STARS (6) should lead and might take some catching. New England visitor USAIN PRINCE (4) can finish top 3 after winning Moree last start. Rough chances 2, 3, 9, 10 and 11.

RACE 6:

BROOKTON TIARA (4) is one of many horses appreciating being back on a firm surface. Eye-catching D'bn 3rd last Sat at the 1000m but now at most effective trip against own sex. Save on BRITAILA KATE (3) who had all the conditions to run well after last start venue win this distance. LA TIKKA ROSA (15) boasts good Victorian form but why is she here now? Rough chances 1, 7, 9, 11 and 13.

RACE 7:

ESSINGTON (6) is down in the weights and with a good gate should finish off strongly. BENNYS BUTTONS (3) will box seat and be hard to beat but up 2kg and back on dry now. SHAFEEQ (7) will lead and will be suited on dry. Rough chances 2,4 and 5.

RACE 8:

ALL MY ANGELS (15) ran in a harder race last Sat but will appreciate the drop back in distance and the lighter weight. Good each-way value. BRIBIE (1) goes back but will flash to the line while CONFIDENT STAR (6) will lead for a long way but the last but is a concern. Rough chances 4, 8, 10, 14, 16 and 18.

BEST BET: KEEP IT MOIST (Race 5).

BEAT EACHWAY: BROOKTON TIARA (Race 6).

BEST ROUGHIE: EQUISSENTIAL (Race 3).

QUADDIE: 5, 6 / 3, 4, 9, 15 / 2, 3, 6, 7 / 1, 6, 15.
