RACE 1:

MAGIC IVY (6) is a capable stayer and currently in-form. Bet each-way. ZA MAGIC (3) will lead them up and must consider on latest D'bn 2nd 2 weeks ago. WISHMORE (10) with Munce booked can feature at fair odds. Rough chances 1, 4 and 5.

RACE 2:

ROCKET TO GLORY (6) "flew" at this track and trip 2 weeks ago and from the rails gate at the same trip should win again. SIGNIFIED (1) will get a good run and goes well fresh. Trialled OK D'bn. MR FAVULOUS (5) is good 1st-up and likes this distance. Rough chance 7.

RACE 3:

VOODOO BLUE MAGIC (1) is very consistent and did well off a bad gate here 2 weeks ago. Better alley a plus today. Bet each-way. BODEGA NEGRA (2) beat several of these at 1350 2 weeks ago and progression to mile seems right. VAZ DE TORRES (3) appeals as the leader and could be dangerous if left alone. Rough chances 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.

RACE 4:

EPIC TERRA (7) was terrific in defeat this track and trip 2 weeks ago and can amend today. Should secure an uncontested lead. YOUTHFUL JACK (1) is a quality galloper who should be in the top 3. EQUISSENTIAL (4) carries same weight as track and trip win here 2 weeks ago. Rough chances 3, 5, and 8.

RACE 5:

Open race. SHOW US A SMILE (4) is a progressive type who has been going well at midweeks. Will take catching again despite class rise. DANYME (11) chased home SHOW US A SMILE last start and can provide quinella result again. UNO FIVE (5) won this track and trip 2 weeks ago and will be competitive again. Rough chances 2, 3, 8, 9 and 10.

RACE 6:

Very keen on BRIBIE (2) who is "flying". Incredible 2nd this track and trip 2 weeks ago and has rails alley today with D.Browne. Keen. SPOT THE ROCK (5) is the legitimate danger while MEMORABLE MOMENT (8) will get a good run and finish off well. Rough chances 4 and 9.

RACE 7:

VENTURE ON (3) is an above-average type who runs well fresh. Good alley and claim assist. WHAT ABOUT ME (4) is first-up but trialled well at D'bn recently and has shown promise in previous campaigns. REGULAR (9) is consistent but finds it hard to win. Rough chances 1, 2, 5, 6, 8 and 10.

RACE 8:

MAGIC IN MOTION (14) is a quality mare who runs well fresh. Trialled well for this and gets good run. PICKABEE (15) steps up in class but midweek form is good enough to be a threat here. Down 4.5kg on last run. LEVIOSA (3) shouldn't be underestimated as NSW form is sound. Rough chances 2, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11 and 16.

BEST BET: ROCKET TO GLORY (Race 2).

BEST EACHWAY: BRIBIE (Race 6).

BEST ROUGHIE: MR LIGHT BLUE (Race 4).
