Form assessed for a good 3.

RACE 1:

RED BOWERS (7) appeals to me as a standout on his impressive Deagon trial win. Quick, early and good type. I AM BOSS (1) and AIMEE (11) were both solid at this track and trip a fortnight ago and will run well again. Rough chances 5, 8 and 10.

RACE 2:

Several chances. DAZZLE US (8) is an above-average stayer, fitter after 4 runs since a spell, and drawn to get a good trip. Was competitive at Carnival standard in 2013. HI SON beat several of these a fortnight ago and chance again with same weight. NOISY OCEAN (3) was solid behind HI SON and will go well. Rough chances 1, 5 and 7.

RACE 3:

DELAGO PILLI (1) was unsuited wet track S/Coast flop but previous 2 runs this track and trip were sound. One alley and 3kg claim are pluses. Terrific value each-way. BUSH AVIATOR (2) was easy in track and trip win January 22 and can run well again. SPARKLING SOUND (8) didn’t ping at S/Coast but assess on dominant EF midweek win. Rough chances 3, 4, 6, 7 and 10.

RACE 4:

DARLIN JULES (4) has jumped out of the ground this campaign, evidenced by her latest EF 3rd off a wide alley. Better drawn now and jockey A.Allen is in rare form. LITTLE BIT DITSY (15) is fitter after sound EF 3rd 1st-up and M.Cahill and one alley are pluses. TEAR IT UP (3) was solid latest EF 4th and chance again. Rough chances 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12.

RACE 5:

Several chances. TERMS OF TRADE (7) has been sound in 2 Qld runs. Draw not pretty but K.Matheson riding well. EXCELLENT POINT (1) has run well in 2 Sydney runs this campaign and will get a good trip. PURE WHISPER (6) is honest and drawn to get a decent trip. Rough chances 2, 3, 4, 11 and 12.

RACE 6:

MISHANI WARRIOR (2) and FILLYDELPHIA (1) have a definite class edge on their rivals and going with MISHANI WARRIOR to turn the tables on FILLYDELPHIA on their S/Coast clash. AGENT BLUE (6) can run a cheeky race at odds. Rough chances 3, 4, 5, 8, 9 and 10.

RACE 7:
EXCEEDINGLY (14) and AGITATE (1) are fast horses with good gates and both coming off sound last start runs. EXCEEDINGLY gets 6.5kg off AGITATE and that will be significant. LONDEHERO (2) is drawn the car park but will finish late. Respect. Rough chances 3, 4, 11 and 15.

RACE 8:

Several chances but keen on ALL TAKEN (6) who has finally drawn a gate and will either lead or box seat. Recent runs in similar races to this have been excellent. Both totes. FRENCH LESSON (4) ran well this track and trip a month ago and chance again. CRACCO (2) secures a good run and rarely run below par. Rough chances 1, 3, 5, 7 and 11.

BEST BET: RED BOWERS (Race 1).

BEST EACH-WAY: ALL TAKEN (Race 8).

BEST ROUGHIE: DELAGO PILLI (Race 3).

QUADRELLA: 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 12 / 1, 2 / 1, 2, 11, 14 / 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11.
