Form assessed for a good 3.

RACE 1:

MR FAVULOUS (2) has never raced better including last week's EF Ascot Handicap 2nd. Should trail a hot pace and be too strong. DOCTOR DAVID (3) usually takes a run to find his best but signalled his potential last campaign. Watch for him to charge late. MISS MEGA HERZ (4) is 1st-up, super-fast but has ADEBISI drawn inside of her to make it difficult. Rough chances 1 and 6.

RACE 2:

SHOTOVER RIVER (9) appears set for a promising campaign. Latest Tatts Cup 4th was sound and gets a good run today. VOLKHERE (2) can be an improver if ridden positively to lead or be handy. Well up to this on best form. KURTLEY (4) has visited from NSW previously and is a chance with Bell riding from a good gate. Rough chances 1, 5 and 6.

RACE 3:

JOPA (6) was very good last campaign and impressed with first-up EF midweek 2nd. Suited today by genuine pace and rails gate a plus. We tipped TIGER DIMEJAN (3) in her latest Sunshine Coast win but I'm a little concerned by the 4kg weight rise and going up to 1200m. MAURY (1) is low flying winning his past 3 straight but up to 59kg now. Rough chances 4, 5, 9, 12 and 13.

RACE 4:

MISS COVER GIRL (1) is unbeaten in 4 runs and she can certainly win again. Brilliant finisher who has won with 58kg before. WORTHY CAUSE (5) was tardy at the start but blew them away at Sunshine Coast. Harder now but he has a wrap on him. RED HOT DREAM (12) ran well Sunshine Coast 4th and rails alley and M.Cahill a plus. Rough chances 3, 8 and 13.

RACE 5:

Open race. MAGIC IN MOTION (3) has been freshened and has raced well in the past against better fields than these. SATURN ROCK (6) keeps running good races and will run well again. NICKY NOCKY (7) appeals as the certain leader but is a concern first go at 1350m. Rough chances 1, 2, 4, 5, 8 and 9.

RACE 6:

EPIC (1) was good to us in his latest EF win. Talented type, sparingly raced, but will be even fitter and finish off well. TAIL AND ALL (7) is an honest type and will get a good run from the rails alley. REGULAR (2) is very effective at this track and distance and appeals as the likely leader. Rough chances 3, 4, 6, 10, 11 and 14.

RACE 7:

KINGDOMS (3) was ultra-impressive winning first-up EF June 21. Mightn't be as fresh now but can't ignore the class factor. Stablemate JETSET LAD (8) has run well at his past two and can provide Brian Smith with the quinella result. TRANSPORTER (2) went too bad to be true last start. Forgive to a degree. Rough chances 5, 6, 9 and 12.

RACE 8:

BUSH CAVIAR (3) has been impressive in his past 2 Ipswich wins, carrying weight and overcoming difficulties. Good draw suits and M.Cahill sticks with him. TRICKY ROCKET (2) has won 5 from 7 and secures a perfect trip from the good gate. ARCHITECT (1) is back to a suitable distance and will charge late. Rough chances 5, 6, 7, 10 and 12.

BEST BET: MR FAVULOUS (Race 1).

BEST EACHWAY: EPIC (Race 6).

BEST ROUGHIE : RED HOT DREAM (Race 4).

QUADRELLA: 1, 3, 6, 7 / 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 7 / 2, 3, 8 / 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 12.
