Form assessed for a good 3.

Race 1:

YEAGER (2) is a promising maiden who has now drawn a decent alley. Should account for these as little depth to the race. SLEEP TIGHT (4) finished behind YEAGER when they last met and unlikely to turn the tables but can provide the quinella result. ELJETEM (2) keeps running on. Rough chances 3, 8 and 9.

Race 2:

Wide open. HEART STEALER (12) won a weaker class 1 midweek here last start but overcame the slow surface. Can handle this class rise with a good gate and Cahill booked again. DENWOOD (3) had little luck here a fortnight ago and will need some from this gate but can be competitive. LEONARDO EXPRESS (2) is building on fitness. Rough chances 1, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 14.

Race 3:

STELLARCRAFT (7) rises in class but is in form and gets a good trip off a strong tempo and will finish generously. FLYING RIDDLE (3) is in career-best form and will be hard to beat from rails gate. LENNIES CHOICE (2) will be one of the leaders and has to be included but not as sharp as previously. Rough chances 1, 6 and 10.

Race 4:

ADORABUBBLE (7) is good fresh and drawn to get a perfect trip. Trialled well recently and looks value at fixed odds. IDLE CHAT (2) put in a booming finish to win at Grafton. Up in weight but can’t deny. MISS STASH (3) is also up in weight but is a talent winning 5 from 11. Rough chances 1, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10.

Race 5:

RICHENZA (4) was impressive 1st-up and goes well 2nd-up. Looks an ideal race from good gate and Munce riding. KALANDULA (8) is a promising filly and will get all the favours off the rails gate while VILLAMILL (1) boasts a handy Northern Rivers record. Rough chances 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11 and 13.

Race 6:

L’ENTRECOTE (5) was a huge run here last time out when wide all the way yet beaten only 2 lengths. Wins this with a better run. TAIL AND ALL (2) is honest and gets a good run. Just struggles at a strong mile while BODEGA NEGRA (3) keeps putting in. Rough chances 4, 6, 7, 9 and 11.

Race 7:

LITTLE BROWN HORSE (5) is an ultra-consistent mare who is coming off a solid EF 3rd a fortnight ago and will run well again. Obvious danger is SALUTER (7) who is the one-out leader and suited with light weight. Old PHELAN READY (4) can be competitive in this. Rough chances 4, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 11.

Race 8:

Wide open but good speed suits strong finisher PIGGY BANK (19) who likes Eagle Farm and is a good 2nd-up. Watch for him finishing late. BIG DECISION (3) has performed well in 2 runs since a spell and can go well again. JACKS BACK (1) will be one of the leaders and is reaching peak fitness. Rough chances 4, 5, 9, 10, 13 and 15.

BEST BET: L’ENTRECOTE (Race 6).

BEST EACHWAY: STELLARCRAFT (Race 3).

BEST ROUGHIE: PIGGY BANK (Race 8).

QUADRELLA: 1, 4, 6, 8, 11 / 2, 3, 5, 9 / 5, 7 / 1, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 13, 15, 19.
