Form assessed for a soft 7 (genuine slow track)

RACE 1:

PARAGGI (5) was tough in winning last Saturday and despite a class rise, can win again. Stable is flying. MASTER AVATAR (6) meets PARAGGI better at the weights but doesn’t win out of turn. How is BRAVE Ali (1) going? I’m not certain and don’t want to take the skinny odds to find out. Rough chances 2 and 3.

RACE 2:

Keen on LE VAL (3). Lightly raced talent who coasted home 1st-up at GC. Mapped to get an ideal run in this. ZAHA’s ACE (8) has won 8 from 14 and drawn to either lead or box-seat. Respecting SIEGRFRIED (9) 1st-up with a 4 from 9 strike rate. Rough chances 2, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11 and 13.

RACE 3:

WICKED INTENT (2) is one of Queensland’s better juveniles and should lead all the way. The $1.6 fixed is a realistic assessment. IT’S VEGAS BABY (3) has trialled well since good debut 2nd while MISHANI DI CAPRIO (1) continues to race honestly. Rough chances 4 and 9.

RACE 4:

Don’t like this race and if a first starter has any ability, it could play a hand. STAR OF NIGHT (5) ran on well at debut GC 2nd so extra 150m will suit. SUPERSAY (2) is with premier stable and improved to win at second start. FLAMENCO GIRL (3) got the job done at only start. Rough chance 1 and big watch on 9.

RACE 5:

SHES MISS DEVINE (11) was never out of 2nd gear latest S/Coast 1200m win and can win again, despite this being a harder race. SOLDI DOMANI (2) was good 1st-up at 1110m, fitter and better drawn today. LITTLE FIGHTER (10) has a knockout chance at odds. Rough chances 1, 3, 4 and 9.

RACE 6:

TARLOSHAN (11) was never a factor 1st-up but goes better today with (a) longer trip (b) better barrier (c) jockey change and (d) rain affected track. Significant improver. Can’t ignore COMMANDING WIT’s (7) form and with a great stable. QUEEN OF THE LOCHS (5) has been freshened and will run well. Rough chances 1, 4, 6 and 9.

RACE 7:

Keen on TINTS (13) at odds. Handles wet and ran well 1350m with big weight last Saturday. Proven at the mile and like Tommy Berry’s booking. DARCI BE GOOD (2) keeps running good races and worth forgiving HOPFGARTEN (3) on past 2 runs now. Rough chances 6 and 10.

RACE 8:

ARCHITECT (1) doesn’t win out of turn but you can’t ignore his performances this campaign in much better races. Hard to hold out despite increase in weight. HEART OF MANY (4) ran an eye-catcher 1st-up. Likes wet and Munce rides him well. No reason why MAGIC IN MOTION (2) can’t run well again after last start track and trip win. Rough chances 3, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 18 and 19.

BEST BET: WICKED INTENT (Race 3)

BEST EACHWAY: LE VAL (Race 2)

BEST ROUGHIE: TINTS (Race 7)

QUADRELLA: 2, 10, 11 / 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11 / 2, 3, 13 / 1, 2, 4, 10, 18.
