RACE 1:

RIVERBOLDA (8) is a quick filly who is proven fresh and appeals as a one-out leader. Take catching at 1050m. Logical danger is NOT A SINGLEMOMENT (4) who is also good 1st-up but has to give RIVERBOLDA a start. Nothing wrong with MY BLING’s (2) form but up 3kg on latest win. Rough chances 3 and 6.

RACE 2:

DIGGLER (6) strikes a suitable maiden to open his winning account. Placed 4 of 6 NSW provincial assignments which is strong enough form for this. VINNIE LOVES ME (16) will bowl along in front and take catching. Ran in 2 smart maidens so far. MAX IT OUT (15) is poorly drawn but respect on debut track and trip 2nd. Rough chances 2, 7 and 11.

RACE 3:

LOCKS LEGEND (10) appeals strongly each-way. Freshened since latest mile 2nd this track and gets a perfect trip from good alley. HANDYMAN BOB (1) is in peak form at this track and trip and certain to run well again. MAGIC IN MOTION (5) is holding her form and will find the line well. Rough chances 3, 6, 8 and 9.

RACE 4:

Don’t like this race. LEVER LEVER (6) has only won once from 10 appearances but rolls forward off a good gate and Colless will ride him well. SECRET GARDEN (1) is best performed of this lot but will be giving them a long start with a big weight. CRUZ BY (5) has patchy form but can show up. Rough chances 4 and 7.

RACE 5:

NIGHT RITUALS (1) is 3 from 3 at provincials and he can win this city assignment. SHES MISS DEVINE (2) is the logical danger but the wide draw is no luxury at the price that is on offer. THE LYNCHES (6) ran well both runs last prep and can run a race at odds. Rough chances 4, 5, 7.

RACE 6:

Open race. CABALLO RAPIDO (1) can find a way to get beaten but this is the easiest race he has struck in sometime and look suited to the mile here at 3rd run back. PRINCE OF SOFIA (6) has run well twice at Ipswich since arriving from Sydney and gets all the favours off the rails alley with Colless. Like NEURUM ROAD’s (2) Northern Rivers form. Value hope Rough chances 2, 4, 5 and 11.

RACE 7:

SMART CASH (11) has been very competitive this campaign and just needs some luck from the awkward alley. Hopefully he has enough pace to duck in behind the leaders. FORETOKEN (1) is quick with the rails alley and will get all the favours. THIS IS WAR (9) is good fresh and will hit the line hard. Rough chances 1, 5, 6, 13 and 15.

RACE 8:

IT’S A THRILLA (9) profiles well for this. Lightly-raced ex Victorian and has shaped well 3 local runs at S/Coast. Secures the run of the race in this. WIDOWS WALK (1) will also get a good trip and look the winner somewhere in the straight. ONE GREY (2) is suited in this class. Rough chances 1, 5, 6, 11 and 13.

BEST BET: RIVERBOLDA (Race 1).

BEST EACHWAY: LOCKS LEGEND (Race 3).

BEST ROUGHIE: NEURUM ROAD (Race 6).

QUADRELLA: 1, 2, 6 / 1, 2, 6, 11 / 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 13 / 1, 2, 5, 9, 10.
