RACE 1:

Tipping quick beginner REDSSON (1) to handle the extra 60 metres and win again and beat home SECRET SAGA (7) who spoiled her hopes with a slow getaway when they last met. There was 6.3 lengths between them though so it would be a bit of a turnaround. HOT SNIPPETY (2) deserves some thought on late spring ability. Rough chances 3, 4, 5, 10 and unknown 6 and 9.

RACE 2:

MEET GEORGE JETSON (4) was a street corner tip on debut but was shin sore and spelled. Plenty of money at fixed odds tells me he is going very well in private and this isn’t a hard race to win. ARROGANT BOY (7) shaped OK on debut and blinkers plus an extra 100m should assist. BANDA SPICE (8) went respectably here a fortnight ago. Rough chances 1, 9 and 11.

RACE 3:

Visitor ORIENTAL LADY (2) comes off a sound Rosehill 7th at G3 level. Also ran well Gosford Cup earlier this year. Strong profile for this local staying event. VOLKHERE (1) now gets to a suitable distance at third run back and represents the danger. TIPS N TALES (7) will run home well with the light weight. Rough chances 3, 4 and 6.

RACE 4:

BREWERY (3) is an on pacer who has looked good in 3 NSW provincial runs this time in. Drawn to advantage and has had a trial to keep him fit for this. Hard to beat. GID UP STROP (4) ran home well 1st-up here at 1350m and mile will suit plus D.Browne booking. CHILLIN WITH DYLAN (2) is drawn to get a sound run and 2 runs this time in have been solid. Rough chances 6, 9 and 10.

RACE 5:

SHEISWHATSHEIS (4) is unbeaten in 2 Ipswich runs, dictating terms each time. Whilst this looks harder on paper, she should secure an easy trip in front again which will assist her running the mile. FLARENDI (6) is a value hope. That was strong form race at Grafton where she closed late. GLORIOUS RED (1) lacked zip here last run but proven track and trip winner. Rough chances 2 and 3.

RACE 6:

Punters have snapped up the fixed odds on offer about HOPFGARTEN (1). Beat them easily 1st-up and now goes to his favourite trip and his favourite jockey. Clearly the benchmark. EVANGELIST (4) arrives with several good form lines from interstate and should be respected. Don’t think BEST TOF THE REST (5) is hopeless as he appears a one out leader. Rough chances 2, 3, 6, 7 and 9.

RACE 7:

GUNDY SPIRIT (12) appeals strongly each-way around $7 fixed. Goes well 2nd-up and has a good record at this track and trip. Closed nicely 1st-up at 1200m. Saving on TYPHOON RED (3) who will be fitter for this and is also generously priced. NEO (4) can run well again after his latest 3rd this track and trip. Rough chances 1, 2, 5, 7 and 8.

RACE 8:

UPSTART PRIDE (3) has some speed drawn on his right but he’s in form and well weighted under these conditions. Will give a bold sight. HEADWATER COUNTRY (6) has been kept fresh for this and will appreciate a brisk tempo. Best run on hope. BOLD ATTRACTION (16) showed good promise last campaign and is a roughie with a genuine hope.

RACE 9:

Terrific race. FINAL CRESCENDO (7) is good 1st-up, gets the chance to trail a high speed and showed his class with 2 Flemington placings last campaign. Good gamble around $9 fixed. WHISKEY ALLROUND (10) is well placed 1st-up with the good marble and should be in the finish. Fixed odds money is strong for HEZA BOBBY DAZZLER (14) to run a race 1st-up. The chances certainly don’t end there. Rough chances 1, 2, 4 and 5.

BEST BET: ORIENTAL LADY (Race 3).

BEST EACHWAY: GUNDY SPIRIT (Race 7).

BEST ROUGHIE: BEST OF THE REST (Race 6).

QUADRELLA: 1, 4, 5 / 3, 4, 5, 12 / 3, 6, 7, 10, 13, 16 / 1, 2, 4, 7, 10, 14.
