Form assessed for a good 3.

RACE 1:

Strong finisher FAST ARROW (6) is in form and will be hard to beat at his first 1800m run. EIGHTS A PARTY (3) profiles similar to FAST ARROW in that he drops out and runs home hard. NOISY OCEAN (4) overcame a dislike of wet tracks to dead-heat here last start. Drier track suits better. Rough chances 1, 2 and 9.

RACE 2:

TINTS (7) is a capable mare who has found the line well twice at T’ba this time in. Third-up at 1400m looks more than suitable. CHAMPAGNE CATH (1) has been freshened and trialled nicely at Warwick Farm. Wide alley and big weight are of some concern. WRITE CHEEK (5) will be a backmarker who can swoop late. Rough chances 3, 4, 8, 10, 11, 13 and 14.

RACE 3:

Fast tempo here suits the strong finishing BEAU JET (2) who is 2 from 2 at S/Coast. This is his right distance. SHE’S MISS DEVINE (9) is 1st-up but goes quick enough from good gate to box seat and run well fresh. GIRLS COMMAND (4) is in-form with Dalby and T’ba wins and finishes powerfully. Rough chances 1, 3, 7 and 10.

RACE 4:

HANDFAST (7) should take experience from his Wyong debut when he was a hot favourite and be hard to beat here on a bigger and more suitable track. MR OPTIMISTIC (4) easily won a GC midweek after showing some Victorian promise. How fit is the local FREQUENDLY (10) who will try and led all the way. Rough chances 3, 11 and 14.

RACE 5:

MERION (1) has generally raced against the best of his age group in Sydney and Melbourne so this looks more than suitable. D.Browne booking is a plus, particularly on this track. WINX (11) has been freshened. Will give them a start but watch for her late. WORTHY CAUSE (2) has the form on the board and has to be respected. Rough chances 4, 6, 7, 8, 12 and 14.

RACE 6:

Average stayers to be honest and can’t get a real handle on this race. VOLKHERE (5) rolls forward and is honest. INDEX LINKED (1) will run well with Browne riding but 2400m might be a slight reservation. TREMEC (2) can mix his form but is right in this on his best. Rough chances 3, 4, 6, 7 and 10.

RACE 7:

ENQUARE (5) has been set for this 1st-up and runs well fresh. Comes off an easy barrier trial and drawn to get the right run. Quality mare and has been proven on more than occasion. TIME FOR WAR (7) will make a bold bid for victory and take catching. ALLEZ EAGLE (9) arrives with good NZ form but is a little hard to line up. Rough chances 1, 4, 6, 10, 11 and 13.

RACE 8:

FACILE TIGRE (3) is now an 8yo but has been sparingly raced. Runs well fresh and home track is an advantage. Watch for him to emerge late. DIAMOND OASIS (5) will be an on speed runner and go well. SEEKING MORE (10) has a difficult draw to contend with but doesn’t know how to run a bad race.

BEST BET: HANDFAST (Race 4).

BEST EACHWAY: TINTS (Race 2).

BEST ROUGHIE: FACILE TIGRE (Race 8).

QUADRELLA: 1, 2, 6, 11 / 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,1 0 / 5, 7, 9, 12, 15 / 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 13, 16.
