Form assessed for a soft ... watch for race patterns, inside or outside favoured?

RACE 1:

LESTERS HOME (9) is an above average NSW visitor who couldn’t make ground on a rock hard track at Grafton. Generally goes better and handles soft. Eachway. MANFRED THE MAN (4) is a front running country sprinter who will lead for a long way while LUCKY LUCRE (6) has had the 2 runs back and will finish off well. Rough chances 1, 2, 7, 8, 11, 14, 15, 16.

RACE 2:

The blinkers worked wonders with GRACEVILLE (13) here last start when she bounced to the front and beat some handy maidens. DRAM OF RED (2) is 2 from 2 and will be fitter after his first-up win. WACK’EM (10) did very well on debut after a wide run. Rough chances 5 and 16.

RACE 3:

GLENBAWN DAME (2) has the form to win this. Maps well, settling just off the speed. ELLAWISDOM (5) is a 5-time winner this track and produces a good finish. BERMUDA BLU (1) is worth some respect 1st-up. Rough chances 4 and 7.

RACE 4:

BUCKIN THE BLUES (10) wasn’t far away in the Grafton Guineas. Handles wet and drawn to get a good run. Value. SPUR LE JOUER (3) is on the 7 day back-up but is a strong finisher and likes here. TOP TONE (4) races forward, handles wet and last run sound. Rough chances 1, 5, 8 and 11.

RACE 5:

SEEKING MORE (2) is a good thing in my book after his past 2 Doomben wins. Maps perfectly. ROCKY KING (3) is the leader and this is best track but not going as well as he can. LOVE ROCKS (1) is 1st-up and a real question mark. Rough chances 8.

RACE 6:

DARCI BE GOOD (1) is as tough-as-teak and strikes a moderate 7 horse opposition. HOT SAGA (7) bounced back to winning form here last start in a midweek assignment but can measure up again. TRACEYS ANGEL (4) will be on pace and is honest. Rough chances 6.

RACE 7:

LITTLE BROWN HORSE (9) has never raced better and loves this track. Foolproof eachway. RIVA DE LAGO (1) keeps running well and must be considered again while JOPA (12) can run well 2nd-up with Colless riding. Rough chances 5, 6, 8 and 13.

RACE 8:

MR JETSET (19) did a good job after a poor getaway last run and this looks a suitable race. BEAU JET (16) is above-average and gets a good run but a slight query at 1200m. IONA FAST ONE (10) will lead these for a long way but 1200m is as far as he wants. Rough chances 2, 4, 7, 8, 12.

BEST BET: SEEKING MORE (Race 5).

BEST EACHWAY; LITTLE BROWN HORSE (Race 7).

BEST ROUGHIE: BUCKIN THE BLUES (Race 4).

QUADRELLA: 2 / 1 / 1, 5, 6, 8, 9, 12, 13 / 2, 4, 7, 8, 10, 12, 16, 19.
