ORMAN GETS ANOTHER SHOT AT GROUP 1 GLORY

Apprentice Jimmy Orman will get another shot at Group 1 glory ... as early as Saturday.

He has been booked to ride the Robert Smerdon trained Chabaud in the Queensland Oaks at Eagle Farm.

The filly was a Group 3 winner at Morphettville in her last start beating Ashlee Marie by 1,60 lengths in the SA Classic over 2500m.

Chabaud won the Tasmanian Oaks back in February and finished fifth in the ATC Oaks behind Sofia Rosa at Randwick in April.

She currently is a four-time winner, with four minor placings from thirteen starts
