WINNO'S WINNERS - EAGLE FARM, APRIL 29

Last week Winno delivered with some great value – thanks to all those who got on my two best roughies for the day ... Race 1 – Mr Lebrock (7) – around $8 and Race 6 - Tiyatrolani (8) – around $16. They were some nice results, both ridden by Jim Byrne. With the Carnival upon us he seems to be coming into some consistent form and maybe one to watch and back over the coming weeks.

This week we are back at Eagle Farm with the rail iout 1m for the entire course and fa forecast “Slow” track. An overcast day is forecast for this week’s program.

Well the Eagle Farm track has been in the media in the last 72 hours since a track gallop, with some people coming out of the woodwork and slamming the track and the way it performed on the day.

My mail is that it had a large amount of water on it and that there was heavy dew on Tuesday morning that may have accentuated the findings on the morning.

None the less with the scepticism that is around it is probably best to show some caution this weekend in your betting until you see how the track performs.

I am not confident this week so what I have done is just give selections this week, as opposed to details individual race comments, as I am not sure of the rating of the track and how it will race on Saturday.

I think we will all have some more answers after the first three races on the surface this weekend.
