JIMMY ORMAN INJURY UPDATE

Jimmy Orman will be out of the saddle for the lucrative upcoming Magic Millions Carnival after sustaining a wedge fracture to vertebrae T9 in a race fall at Caloundra on Friday 5 January.
The fall occurred in race 3 when Orman was riding Red Mahogony. Nathan Thomas also fell in the incident. Both jockeys were taken to hospital for further assessment.
Today Orman remains in the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition
Orman told HRO “I hope to be released home later today, the doctors have told me it is a stable fracture”.
