RANDWICK RACES SATURDAY 10 MARCH 2018
The track is a “SOFT” track the rail is out 6 metres from the 1600 metres to the winning post and then 4 metres for the remainder of the track.
NB: As this form assessment was made prior to raceday, please check final fields and track conditions for any changes on the day.
Race 1
A roughy here at around $25 – Shagra (9)– each way for mine

Race 2
The Gold Coast trained Houtzen (3) resumes from a spell – let’s hope she makes a winning return. I Am Excited (6) to see Houtzen (3) back but this runner (I Am Excited) could be the one to challenge her first up.

Race 3
A short priced Estijaab (2) should win this easy. Tony Gollan’s Outback Barbie has trialled well recently and will probably run the quinella.

Race 4
Performer (2) gets the nod here in an open race. With a two wins from two starts record and the Hugh Bowman and Chris Waller dynamic duo behind him – he will be hard to beat.
Bondi (8) could be one to keep your eye on – unlucky in the Magic Millions. Could race well fresh and trialled amazing three weeks ago.
Tony Gollan has Ef Troop (1) engaged as well – he won a recent trial well – could show up.

The Group 1 Canterbury Stakes.
An open race. Clearly Innocent (2) will be better for the run 3 weeks ago.
Watch out for a big first up effort from Happy Clapper!

The Group 1 Randwick Guineas.
Team Godolphin has the exciting Kementari (3) looking for a hat trick of wins.
My old mate Pierata (5) I think will like the mile this week – what out for him to be powering home late.

I really can’t see them beating Ravi (1) here and at silly odds of $9 I am getting on!
The stable mate Gibraltar Girl (8) may be only danger.
This could be a unique quinella for the Peter and Paul Snowden team.

Race 9
I like Chris Waller to trifecta the last race.
Liapari (7) is great value at $10. Two weeks since his last run and Brenton Avdulla aboard I think this runner is genuine value in a race that is very open.
The other two Waller runners Alward (8) and Carzoff (10) are well placed. Interestingly Carzoff (10) was nominated at Doomben as well and the Waller team has elected to keep him in Sydney to run this weekend.
