NICK KEAL INJURED IN TOOWOOMBA TRIAL

Promising apprentice Nick Keal suffered a fractured right collar bone this morning in a track trial at Toowoomba.
Nick's horse veered to the right and crashed into the plastic fencing throwing his heavily to the turf. Fortunately. it was only a small field and Nick escaped further injury as all other horses and riders avoided him
He was transported to Toowoomba Base Hospital before being released late Thursday.
Nick was looking forward to his six rides at the Gold Coast meeting on Saturday.
He was to ride Zouzouzakia for his boss Kevin Kemp who is owned by Con Searle.
Nick told WINNO "at least I don't have to get up early in Winter". "This is a minor set back and I will recover well and be back bigger and better".
