WINNO'S WINNERS: SUNSHINE COAST, NOVEMBER 10

We are racing on the Sunshine Coast this weekend – the big long straight – the wide track and where every runner gets a chance to win!

The track is rated “GOOD” (Friday morning) and the rail will be in the true position for the entire course this weekend. There is a forecast of warm weather over the coming days so let’s hope the track remains great for racing!

A reminder on Sunday it is Remembrance Day – the 100th anniversary of the Armistice which ended the First World War. One hundred years ago the guns and fighting on the Western Front fell silent after four years of continuous fighting. I read a statistic that 330,000 Australians served overseas and more than 60,000 of them died during the war.

Please take the time out on Sunday at 11am to observe a minute’s silence in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts!
