KAH ROUNDS OFF A TREBLE AT CAULFIELD

Horses run for Jamie Kah, no doubt about that, and the Anthony and Sam Freedman trained Prophet’s Thumb became the latest horse to abide by that theory when she sustained a long run to go to the line a winner in the Group 2 Rubiton Stakes … giving the stable a double and Kah a winning treble on the day.
“it is just very important for these mares to get this type of race on their CV,” said Sam Freedman. “She is a mare that is quite a tricky ride. She can get very keen, but Jamie (Kah) just throws the reins at them and they switch off.
“The Freedman stable has been great to me,” said Kah. “I’ve been doing a bit of work for them, so it is nice to get the rewards.
“Everything worked out perfectly. She got cover three wide and then, when they finally crossed to the fence on the turn, a gap opened up … and she was really relaxed today. She was in a good mood.
“Glad to get another winner for the team. It’s been a good day.”
