Trainer Melissa Taylor’s good work in taking Scream Queen along a progressive path since the filly relocated from Victoria … Scream Queen scored her first win in only her second start for the stable … has been given an important nod of approval from syndicator Ken King bringing with it on-going benefits for the stable.

“We purchased Scream Queen on-line through Ken King Thoroughbreds, which is a syndicator in Victoria,” explained Taylor.

“Dale (Smith) rode a Group winner for Ken, so we had that connection and, obviously, we have kept in contact with Ken King since Scream Queen came up here.

“I kept Ken up to date. I told him how she had trialled up well. I informed Ken of the horse’s performance and how she has turned it around since coming up to us … and then, of course, there was the win … and now Ken has come on board and he is now going to send some horses up to us … which is great."
