The Tony and Maddysen Sears training partnership saddled seven winners during the month of August … exactly the same tally it achieved in February … this time from thirty-five runners.

Those results produced a twenty percent win strike rate.

In addition, the stable turned out no less than thirteen placed runners who, between them, recorded three second places and ten third places.

That translates into the fact that fifty-seven percent of the Sears trained runners for the month finished in the first three places.

The seven wins came from seven individual winners … an impressive enough statistic in itself. The horses who saluted were … Even Now, Miss McKinley, Most Dazzling, Conglomerate, Steady Ready, Eleuthera and Trengganu

The three second place finishers were … Dynamic Duo, Red Wave and Illicit Affairs.

The ten third place finishers were … Dazzling Flash, Dynamic Dup, Even Now, Goldeel, Red Wave, Raging Pole, Single Dizire, Spirit One, Straight Alphas and Winneba,

Luke Tarrant and Angela Jones (with three winners apiece) and Isabelle Rabjones (with one win) brought home the stable winners.
