WINNO'S WINNERS: EAGLE FARM, JULY 16, 2022
By Darren Winningham | Friday, July 15, 2022
Back at Eagle Farm this weekend with the track rated “Good.” The rail is out 1 metre for the entire circuit.
WINNO has been on assignment at Grafton for the past week for the GRAFTON CARNIVAL.
A wonderful week of racing with Rachel King winning the Southside Pharmacy Grafton Cup 2022 aboard the Bjorn Baker trained Arapaho in what was a dominant performance. She then went onto ride The Kirby winner in the next race aboard the Cody Morgan trained Ice In Vancouver. She set a record as well being the first female jockey to win the Grafton Cup – congratulations Rachel.
Whilst this was happening, NSW were beaten by the other lot on Wednesday night.
Nothing more to be said here – however, I do note that as usual you alleged QLD supporters were silent prior to the match and then came out cheering after the match as usual.
Lastly, all eyes will be on Hong Kong racing on Sunday with the 2021/22 Jockeys Premiership going down to the wire with Zac Purton and Joao Moreira in a tie after this week’s Happy Valley meeting. It will be an amazing afternoons racing!
Straight into it this weekend with some small fields to assess.
Selections only this weekend as I have been a busy beaver this week!

WINNO V FLEMO
FLEMO and WINNO were woeful last weekend – just a couple of winners between us. I think FLEMO may have the victory. I am sure he will take time out from his padded commentary box to hunt me down and remind me of the 2022 State of Origin result – I am always gracious in defeat – NOT!
The battle continues this weekend with WINNO and FLEMO. Be sure to check the up to date and amended tips each Saturday morning on Facebook after any track changes and scratchings where I will post our selections and any late mail!
