A CASE OF HARD WORK GETTING ITS REWARD
By Graham Potter | Saturday, October 15, 2022
Talk about a hard working stable.
On October 15, Matt Kropp sent out no less than thirteen runners who contested races at no less than four venues … Eagle Farm, Toowoomba, Stanthorpe and Mitchell … while Willian Kropp again had his well performed Priti Piper on action (at Stanthorpe).
The Kropp team’s efforts were well rewarded with four stable winners … Anacheeva Lad, Coyne’s Road, Flying Joy and Priti Piper … a more than healthy twenty-eight percent winning strike rate on the day … a return which makes all of the arduous travel worthwhile.
These results helped push Matt Kropp’s into joint second place (on number of wins0 … with Beven Johnson and Philip Cole … on the Queensland Country Trainer’s Premiership for the season with ten winners.
Kropp has sent out only thirty country runners so far this season … easily the least number of runners of any of the trainers in the top six on the Country Premiership ladder where he comes in with an overall winning strike rate of thirty percent.
