HONG KONG, THAT’S A WRAP! A BIG THANK YOU TO WONDERFUL MEDIA TEAM AT THE HKJC

LONGINES Hong Kong International Races (HKIR) is a highlight on the International racing calendar and a privilege to attend in any official capacity.

HorseRacingOnly (HRO) Australia, was once again granted official media accreditation to return to Hong Kong to cover the 2023 edition of the event, as we have done (covid affected years excluded, since 2017) with HRO, this time, being represented by myself, Winno, and Tim Clayton.

I would like to express our sincere thanks for the continued invitations along with the official media accreditation which allows HRO the opportunity to provide extensive, original coverage of these two outstanding Hong Kong feature race days in December.

When this year's coverage is finalised horseracingonly.com.au will have posted more than thirty independent stories, will have taken over five hundred photographs, will have loaded more than forty posts onto social media, including a number of video interviews with jockeys and trainers.

That translates into a pretty herculean work effort from Darren Winningham and Tim Clayton in sourcing and producing all of the above with full credit also going to Graham Potter whose editing made sure the stories and photos were all used to their best advantage on the horseracingonly.com.au website.

A particular vote of thanks goes to Priscilla, Nickson, Pam, Henry, Dick, Heidi, Christine, Cindy, Jeff and KH Laua in the media office and, of course, as always to the mighty Larry who directs, supports, and encourages the media so well at the track itself.

Special thanks to Larry for ensuring Winno and Tim was in the right spot and the right time for the photo opportunities. Particular thanks also to Priscilla and Nickson for their efforts at the HKIR Media Centre at the Renaissance Harbourview Hotel and at the track for their amazing support and ensuring that we were always up to date with the most accurate information.

The HKJC media team are second to none. They are only too happy to assist and make sure the best coverage of the LONGINES HKIR is achieved.
